Since I visited Costa Rica with just a backpack and a pair of binoculars in 2010, I couldn’t wait to go back with my camera. The wildlife photography opportunities are unending. In December of 2016, that dream came true when my friend and fellow photographer, Amber Elliot, and I set off on our great Costa Rican adventure. The list of species we had the great experience of seeing is too long to mention. Standing amid a diverse array of hummingbirds flitting all around was surreal. Certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
